Flu season traditionally starts as early as late November, peaks in late December thru February and usually ends in March. If you have not received your annual vaccine, please give our office a call. Recommended groups to receive the vaccine include children ages 6 months to 2 years old, individuals 65 years and older, and any person with underlying chronic illness, such as diabetes, asthma, etc. Also, there is acute medical treatment available for Influenza A, which will reduce the severity and duration of the illness.
